A monkey is a monkey is a monkey!

What do I mean by that?

We, as humans, are somewhere in the middle of the spectrum of consciousness. Below are animal and plant world consciousness, which is fixed, definite, static. A monkey is a monkey is a monkey. Its consciousness cannot evolve beyond a monkey in a lifetime. In contrast, human consciousness is in transition, a state of possibilities, to go back to the animal consciousness and behave out of only instincts, survival. Or to grow further as human consciousness and experience more than just instincts in daily lives - living more out of love, compassion, a higher possibility of experiences. And evolve to even something higher on the upper end of the spectrum, which can be referred to as divine consciousness. So the human consciousness is a realm of possibilities where we are sometimes behaving like animals, sometimes a little higher than that and demonstrating our love, compassion, sharing, connection with others and sometimes even acting like the divine where we are in the truth, in the pure consciousness, in the pure awareness and bliss. We are oscillating on this spectrum from animals to humans to divine.
